🚨GOOD NEWS : Manager Ange Postecoglou aims to bolster his squad by requesting three key signings during the summer transfer window

Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has requested three new signings in the summer transfer window, but to make this happen, the club will need to offload some players to trim its bloated squad.

After missing out on Champions League qualification, Spurs are looking to revamp their team, and Postecoglou has identified some targets. However, to fund these signings, several big-name players will need to be sold.

One of the priority signings is a new striker, and Brentford’s Ivan Toney is a top target. Toney has expressed his desire to play at the top level, and Spurs are interested, but the price might be a sticking point, as they don’t want to pay more than £40m.

Other targets include RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez.

To raise funds, Spurs will need to sell some players. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Giovani Lo Celso, and Bryan Gil are all thought to be for sale at the right price.

Additionally, players who were loaned out in 2023/24, such as Tanguy Ndombele, Sergio Reguilon, and Djed Spence, will be put up for sale. Japhet Tanganga, who was on loan at Millwall, is still deciding whether to join the club permanently.

In total, seven players could be axed from the squad to make way for new signings and to raise funds. This would be a significant overhaul of the team, but Postecoglou is looking to build a squad that can compete at the top level.
