🚨West Ham Coaching Staff Surprised by Kalvin Phillips’ Performance: Sources Reveal Concerns

West Ham United coaches have been left stunned by the attitude and performance of loanee Kalvin Phillips in training and behind the scenes.

Sources close to the club have revealed that the 28-year-old midfielder appears to be struggling with a confidence crisis and has seemingly lost interest in playing Premier League football.

Since joining West Ham from Manchester City in January, Phillips has not only underperformed in matches but has also been hugely disappointing in training.

His displays have been so poor that West Ham coaches have been shocked by his lack of effort and quality.

Phillips’ struggles are believed to be linked to his difficult transition from Leeds United to Manchester City in July 2022.

Despite making 31 appearances for City, his move has not worked out as expected, and he seems to be still reeling from the disappointment.

West Ham had high hopes for Phillips, but he has made just 10 appearances for the club and has been prone to repeated errors on the pitch.

His future is now uncertain, with a return to Elland Road a possibility this summer. However, Leeds will need to spend “big money” to re-sign him, according to sources.

Former West Ham player Frank McAvennie has already predicted that Phillips will not play another match for the club this season, and it remains to be seen what the future holds for the struggling midfielder.
