Wilfried Gnonto, the talented Leeds United winger, is in high demand after his team’s disappointing failure to secure promotion back to the Premier League.

According to sources, Leeds United is vulnerable to offers for several of their key players, including Gnonto, Crysencio Summerville, Pascal Struijk, Illan Meslier, Archie Gray, and Georginio Rutter, as the transfer window prepares to reopen next month.

Gnonto, in particular, has attracted significant interest from top clubs, despite being contracted to Leeds until 2027.

The Italian winger’s impressive form in the second half of the season, which saw him score eight goals and help Leeds reach the Championship play-off final, has only added to his appeal. However, his efforts ultimately ended in heartbreak as Leeds lost 1-0 to Southampton at Wembley.

Leeds United had successfully fended off interest from Premier League sides in Gnonto last summer, but the situation may be different this time around.

With the club facing financial pressures, including £73.6 million in outstanding transfer fees due by the end of June, they may be forced to consider selling some of their star players.

This could make Gnonto, who has long been linked with a move away from Elland Road, a prime target for clubs looking to strengthen their squads.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding Gnonto’s future, Leeds United’s 49ers-led board has expressed its full support for manager Daniel Farke, who is expected to remain in charge and lead the club’s promotion push next season.
