West Ham United is on the hunt for a new forward this summer, and four top strikers are on their radar.

According to senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke on the Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Ademola Lookman, Serhou Guirassy, Ivan Toney, and Youssef En-Nesyri are all targets for manager Julen Lopetegui.

En-Nesyri, 26, is a standout candidate, having previously worked with Lopetegui at Sevilla. His impressive goalscoring record, including 20 goals in 41 appearances last season and 73 goals in 196 appearances since joining Sevilla in 2020, makes him a top target. His height and frame also make him an attractive option.

Toney, 28, is another target, having scored 20 goals in the 2022-23 Premier League season and 72 goals in 141 games since joining Brentford in 2020. However, West Ham faces stiff competition from Chelsea, Tottenham, and Arsenal for his signature.

Guirassy, 28, burst onto the scene last season with Stuttgart, scoring 30 goals in 30 games and leading his side to a shock second-placed finish.

His £17million release clause makes him an attractive option, but West Ham faces interest from other clubs.

Lookman, 26, represents a different option, playing mainly from the wing rather than as a central striker. However, his goalscoring exploits in the Europa League, including a hat-trick in the final for Atalanta, have caught the eye of West Ham chiefs. Since joining Atalanta in 2022, he has scored 31 goals and provided 17 assists in 77 appearances.

With Lopetegui looking to strengthen his attacking options, all four strikers have emerged as potential targets on West Ham’s list.

The Hammers are keen to bring in a new forward to bolster their squad, and these four strikers are at the top of their list.
