JUST IN : Tottenham Hotspur Among Five Clubs Interested in Signing Juventus and England Under-21 Winger

Samuel Iling-Junior, a 20-year-old winger, has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur for an extended period. The rumors have resurfaced, suggesting that Spurs may revive their interest in the Juventus player this summer.

In April, The Telegraph reported that Tottenham’s manager, Ange Postecoglou, is keen on signing a winger, with Iling-Junior and Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao at the top of the club’s wishlist.

Iling-Junior made 24 appearances in Serie A for Juventus last season, scoring one goal, with most of his appearances coming off the bench.

However, Juventus is now looking to sell the young winger, according to TuttoJuve. The club has informed potential suitors of Iling-Junior’s availability and is seeking a transfer fee of €15m (£12.7m).

Tottenham and Newcastle United are among the clubs monitoring Iling-Junior’s situation, along with Serie A teams Bologna and Atalanta.

Interestingly, Juventus may also consider using Iling-Junior as part of a swap deal to sign Mason Greenwood from Manchester United.

While Iling-Junior is a promising young player, Tottenham needs more than just potential this summer. The club requires a top-class wide-attacker who can significantly improve their starting eleven.

Spurs have already signed Timo Werner on a season-long loan from RB Leipzig and are expected to offload Bryan Gil after a disappointing spell at the club.

The transfer window is heating up, and Tottenham’s pursuit of Iling-Junior will be an interesting storyline to follow. Can they secure the services of the young winger, or will they opt for other targets to bolster their squad? Only time will tell.
