JUST IN : 28yrs Set to Depart Tottenham Hotspur Amid Interest from Overseas Clubs

Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is reportedly set to leave the Premier League club this summer, with Atletico Madrid emerging as a potential destination.

According to the Daily Mail, Hojbjerg is eager to join the La Liga side, having seen a move collapse last summer. With only one year remaining on his Tottenham contract, the 28-year-old Danish international is expected to depart the club in the coming months.

Hojbjerg has been linked with a move away from Spurs for some time, due to his limited game time and the fact that his playing style does not align with manager Ange Postecoglou’s vision.

Despite featuring in 39 games this season, most of his appearances came from the bench. Fulham, Juventus, and Napoli have also shown interest in the former Southampton star, but a move to Juventus is considered the best option for Hojbjerg.

Serie A’s tactical and slower pace would suit Hojbjerg’s game, and the opportunity to play Champions League football with Juventus is a significant incentive.

However, the Italian giants’ pursuit of Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz may impact Hojbjerg’s potential move to Turin. If Juve fails to land Luiz, they may turn their attention to Hojbjerg, but it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold.
