🚨EXCLUSIVE : Amadou Onana Describes Developments at Everton as “Scary” Amid Transfer Rumors

Amadou Onana has now described the news coming out of Everton as “scary” writing on Instagram.

The Belgian, who is currently playing at UEFA EURO 2024, found time in his busy schedule during international duty to comment on the events at Goodison Park.

Everton no. 8 Amadou Onana reacts as Lewis Dobbin joins Aston Villa

The Belgium international has now hit back after the Toffees sold Lewis Dobbin to Aston Villa.

Everton will receive £10m from the deal just hours after signing Tim Iroegbunam from Villa for £9m.

Both deals appear to be a roundabout way of navigating the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability (PSR) rules – with graduate sales going down on the books as 100% profit.

Onana clearly expects big things from Dobbin at Villa Park, describing the 21-year-old’s move as a “scary” development when commenting on the England Under-19 international’s move.

The Stoke-born striker made 12 Premier League appearances for Everton last season and scored in a 2-0 win against Chelsea, leaving Merseyside after ten years at Goodison Park.

The Belgian international could also leave Goodison Park

Onana may indeed follow Dobbin out of Goodison Park when he returns from UEFA EURO 2024.

A story from Spain’s Mundo Deportivo has claimed that Barcelona are keen to sign the 22-year-old this summer, although Arsenal are actually favorites to secure his signature.

Of course, Everton will certainly not want to lose Onana, especially as Dominic Calvert-Lewin already looks set to leave Merseyside to join Newcastle.

But the man from Dakar will certainly find it hard to ignore interest from Barcelona and Arsenal – perhaps even more suitors will come to the table if he continues to impress at UEFA EURO 2024.
