🚨REPORT : PL rival Might Enter Bidding War with West Ham for £45m Premier League Captain

West Ham United could face stiff competition from Manchester United this summer as they secure their Premier League captain. With Erik ten Hag extending his stay at Old Trafford, Manchester United can finally focus on strengthening their squad in the coming weeks.

The Red Devils still have a lot of work to do and Julen Lopetegui faces a similar task at West Ham as he tries to shape the team in his image.  Both clubs are looking for new options in central defence, especially Ten Hag after the departure of Raphael Varane.

Kurt Zouma could also be on his way out at the London Stadium, while Nayef Aguerd is said to be keen on a move to Atletico Madrid.

West Ham appear to have identified Max Kilman as their preferred centre-back target, while Lopetegui is considering a reunion with the Wolves defender.

The Hammers have already made contact with Wolves regarding a move for the Englishman. But with Ten Hag also targeting reinforcements at centre-back, journalist Ben Jacobs claimed United could emerge as an option for Kilman.

Man United could make a move for West Ham target Max Kilman Speaking to GiveMeSport, Jacobs shared the news about Kilman's future, with West Ham and Man United interested.

The reporter claims that if the Hammers reject a move for the defender, it could open the door for Ten Hag's men to swoop in. "I will keep an eye on Max Kilman, who has been discussed by Manchester United since April," Jacobs said.

“Although the expectation is that if he leaves it could be for West Ham and a reunion with Julian Lopetegui, the price Wolves would sell him for could be too much for West Ham because I've been told Wolves don't want him. to lose their captain, but if they do it will cost around £45m. "And it could happen that West Ham leave with a number like that, which could open the door for Manchester United."
