Jack Harrison has rejoined Everton on loan for a second season at Leeds United, with Molly “Meatball” McCann pouncing on the full-back in response to a disgruntled Leeds fan on Instagram.
Leeds appear to be busy sorting out the future of Victor Orta’s loan squad at the moment, with the futures of Harrison and Marco Roca expected to be settled by the end of the week, with Roca close to joining Betis.
Robin Koch and Luis Sinisterra have already left for Frankfurt and Bournemouth on a permanent basis, while American star Brenden Aaronson will return to Elland Road this summer and play a part in the promotion drive.
That leaves Max Wober, Rasmus Kristensen and Diego Llorente with futures in doubt, with the latter even set to return to Leeds on the first day of pre-season. Wober and Kristensen are currently at EP 2024.
Leeds fan shares anger at Harrison following Everton move
Harrison was one of two players from the previous eight to renew his loan clause this summer, and Everton have taken full advantage of it. He rejoined the Toffees on another bowl until the end of 2024-25.
He impressed with appearances for the Merseyside club last season, scoring seven goals in 35 appearances for Dyche’s men. This convinced Dyche and Everton to complete a second loan deal and sign the winger.
There is clearly a sense of anger towards Harrison for leaving Leeds for the second time and preventing Leeds from raising some money to sign him. A Leeds fan commented on Everton’s post.
How UFC star Molly McCann retaliated in defense of Harrison
While Leeds fans are unhappy with Harrison and the rest of Orta’s loan army, Everton fans are happy that Harrison is back for another year. A player who suited Everton’s tough style.
McCann jumped to Harrison’s defense in response to the aforementioned Leeds fan comment, telling the Leeds fan that Everton were delighted to have Harrison back on board at Goodison Park.
She said, “I see! We all want him!”
