📢BREAKING NEWS : Leeds midfielder agrees terms to quit, transfer now very close

admin

Leeds United midfielder Glen Kamara has agreed terms to join Rennes, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The newspaper in its printed edition [4. July, page 15] reported that Kamara has moved to the top of the Ligue 1 club’s wish list following the departure of Enzo Le Fee.

The report also adds that the distance between Leeds and Rennes agreeing terms for the transfer is getting closer.

Why Leeds United should try to keep Glen Kamara

Unfortunately for Leeds fans, they are yet to settle in the transfer market, with departures likely this summer [Alan Nixon, July 1].

Granted, the recent departure of Archie Gray to West Yorkshire outfit Tottenham has put them in a stronger negotiating position than they had previously [Graham Smyth, July 3], but they are unlikely to want to do anything about selling their best players.

Especially in the case of Kamara, as the former Rangers man was the anchor of their team last season.

Gray’s departure has already made waves among the fan base, and Kamara’s departure could be the last straw.

Even if the Whites were to receive a high fee for the Finnish international, the club will find it quite difficult to find a suitable replacement.

Of course, Ilia Gruev and Ethan Ampadu can be deployed there if necessary, but neither have the same attacking energy that the 28-year-old could bring to the team.
