Nottingham Forest are making moves in the transfer window this summer, with another new addition set to land next week.

After struggling in the Premier League last season, Nuna Espirito Santo’s side will be looking to get off to a fast start this season.

The standard is expected to improve significantly in League One, with Sheffield United, Burnley and Luton Town replacing the established Leicester City and Southampton.

With Forest having to wait until the final day of the campaign to secure Premier League status, a strong start could be huge for Nunn’s side.

Three new faces have already arrived at the City Ground this summer, with more to come in the coming weeks.

Nottingham Forest are open to offers for ‘phenomenal’ players this summer

After three signings, Evangelos Marinakis is now awaiting his fourth arrival of the summer, which will be secured next week.

It has now been suggested that Carlos Miguel will sign his contract at Forest on Monday.

And of course, Odysseas Vlachodimos left last week with a move to Newcastle United after Forest secured the signing of Elliot Anderson.

The Reds have been vital this summer and are looking to bring some real changes to Nunu’s side before pre-season really gets underway.

According to The Athletic, Forest were determined to overhaul their goalkeeping situation this summer.

And they are certainly doing just that with Miguel, who is now in the country to do his forest medical.

However, the report suggests the club are still keen to listen to offers for Matt Turner as they move closer to signing the Brazilian giants.

Matt Turner is failing to impress at Forest after signing last summer

It was only 12 months ago that the USA international moved from Arsenal to the City Ground.

But the 30-year-old has failed to impress at Forest after taking charge from the Premier League title contenders.

Turner made just 17 Premier League appearances before being replaced by Matz Sels after signing in the January window.

This may come as a surprise to some as Turner arrived at Forest with high praise from his former manager Mikel Arteta, who described him as “phenomenal”.
