🚨SHOCKING : Sean Dyche Gains Support as Potential England Manager Amidst Diverse Shortlist for Southgate’s Successor

Sean Dyche for England?    The Everton boss should be in the picture, according to former Premier League boss Alan Pardew.

Current Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate’s future is currently in doubt after his side were beaten 2-1 by Spain in Sunday’s Euro final.

Southgate has led England to two finals, a semi-final and a quarter-final in his major tournaments in charge of the national team.    Some believe that the former defender is too negative in his coaching style and that he did not take advantage of favorable draws at both the European Championship and the World Cup.

While reports suggest the FA want Southgate to stay, the England manager has also hinted he will leave his post this summer.    As it turns out, there is no obvious replacement, although Graham Potter is the bookies’ current favourite.

Speaking to TalkSport on Monday morning, Pardew outlined his list of potential candidates, which includes a large number of managers.

“I have a few [substitutes] on my list, but I think people have to look outside the box with it,” he said.    “My number one is Pep [Guardiola]. You have to get the best. He knows English football. He’s at Man City, I think we can appreciate him from there. He probably needs a new challenge.

“I’ve got Klopp, I’ve got Arteta, I’ve got Potter, I’ve got Howe, I’ve got Mourinho and I’ve got Sean Dyche.”

Dyche has done a strong job at Everton since taking over in January 2023. In his first season, he steered the team away from relegation trouble and in his second season, the Blues finished comfortably clear of the relegation zone despite a cumulative eight-point deficit from two separate.  Allegations in the Premier League.

The former Burnley manager is in the final year of his contract with Everton.    In May, the Blues manager said there had been no discussions with director of football Kevin Thelwell about a possible extension.
