Nottingham Forest fans have called on the club to allow Jonathan Panzo to leave on a permanent deal after his loan spell at Rio Ave.
On July 17, Panzo completed a one-year loan to the Portuguese side, also owned by Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.
This will be his fourth loan since joining Forest in January 2022, having represented Coventry, Cardiff and Standard Liege.
The defender has only played one game for Forest and fans are wondering how long he will be at the club before he is released.
Given the number of loan moves in recent years, there have been calls to drop it for good rather than keep it on the books.
Nottingham Forest are being urged to cash in on Jonathan Panza as a new transfer twist emerges
Panzo joined Forest in January 2022 for a fee of £1.5m but has never been able to make his mark on the first team and now it seems likely that he will never pay for them again.
Fans have called for him to be sold outright, while some have called for him to be let go, and with just one year left on his contract, the latter seems the most likely option.
