🚨REPORT :Respected Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has expressed his excitement over Everton’s recent agreement with sale terms now tied up

Dharmesh Sheth believes Everton did a good job in the deal that brought Amadou Onana to Aston Villa.

   Speaking on the Sky Sports News Transfer Talk podcast on Wednesday (July 17, 35mins 25secs), Sheth said the deal was beneficial for both clubs.

   Reporter Sam Tighe suggested the Toffees might also be happier to offload Onana if it means keeping hold of star full-back Jarrad Branthwaite.

   The pair discussed the potential transfer and its implications, with Sheth saying: “It’s looking good for Aston Villa and I daresay he’s even getting that amount for Everton.”

   Tighe then replied: “I think they were probably happier to let Onano go than Branthwaite, if it means Branthwaite stays I think everyone is happy.”

   The Telegraph’s John Percy later added to X (July 17) that all financial terms have now been agreed, with Onana set to undergo a medical at Villa this weekend ahead of a £50m move.

   The Amadou Onana deal is very beneficial for Everton

   Aston Villa’s £50m deal for Everton midfield ace Onano is fantastic news for the Toffees.    The 22-year-old Belgium international will join Villa after a medical this weekend, with the transfer benefiting both clubs.

   For the Toffees, the big cash flow is a big plus and means they can potentially keep key players like Branthwaite at the club, which is great news.

   Onana leaving Goodison Park after two years gives the club a chance to regroup and strengthen other areas.

   The money from his transfer will help the Toffees stay financially healthy and avoid problems with Financial Fair Play rules.    It also allows them to focus on making smart moves in the transfer market.

   All in all, releasing Onana for £50m is a smart move for Everton.    It brings in much-needed cash and allows the club to build a stronger squad for the future.    This deal is a huge win for Sean Dyche’s team.
