🚨REPORT :Nottingham Forest is reportedly planning to introduce a ‘fearsome partnership’ in the Premier League next season

Nottingham Forest are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season with a number of players already added to their ranks.

   The Reds are hoping to go on after finishing 16th and 17th respectively in their first two years in the Premier League.

   Scoring really wasn’t much of a problem last season – but being kept out almost ended their Premier League status and the team regressed.

   With that in mind, it was imperative that Forest looked for reinforcements, with Carlos Miguel signing between the posts and Nikola Milenkovic coming in to bolster the backline.

   Some of the plans are already in place and now the respected transfer journalist has revealed what he heard Forest would like to do this season.

   Nottingham Forest have partnerships in mind for the Premier League campaign

   Pre-season is undoubtedly the time to start experimenting with a range of tactical things.

   Nuno Espirito Santo will want to make sure he gets to know his strongest team pretty quickly this season as he looks to push the team up the league.

   As a result, he will want solid partnerships across the pitch if possible, and reporter Ben Jacobs shared what he heard.

   Forest have been questioned over Murillo’s future but have shared some details about their future and suggested what the squad’s plans will be.

   The transfer expert told Forest Fan TV: “I’ve been told I’d like to leave – not in the sense of forcing myself or anything like that – but if the right opportunity comes to a Big Six club and he can play regularly in Europe, I’d say  Forest to want this opportunity.

   “Forest at the moment, like the idea of Murillo and Milenkovic, they think they complement each other in terms of the qualities they have, they are different types of players and together they can be a very scary partnership.

   “It’s quiet on the Murillo front right now.”

   Forest can thrive with new defense partnership

   The £12m signing of Milenkovic from Fiorentina looks like a quality deal and he could forge a relationship with Murillo.

   The Brazilian has had a first-class season in the Premier League, but as a young player he is not without mistakes.

   What Murillo lacks in aerial ability, Milenkovic more than makes up for, and Jacobs is on the money to suggest that Forest would like to combine the two players.

   Fans should be pretty relaxed about the Murillo situation and it’s not exactly a bold statement to suggest he would jump at the chance to join a top-six club.

   For a club in Forest’s position, they will always be at the mercy of the best clubs in the top flight and many clubs are in the same position.

   At the moment, it looks like Murillo will stay and it is very exciting to see how the Brazilian and Milenkovic will perform together at the start of the season.
