📢REPORT :According to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, Everton is in the process of finalizing the details for their fourth signing of the summer transfer window

Although the Friedkin Group held talks for a month during the exclusivity period, the Friedkin Group decided not to proceed with a full acquisition.

Many feared this could affect the current transfer strategy, but Alan Myers suggested Everton will cover their bases in the short term.

This means the Toffees will continue their transfer business as planned while Farhad Moshiri looks for a new owner.

Now, fresh reports have emerged that Everton are closing in on a deal to sign Napoli playmaker Jesper Lindström in the summer transfer window.

The Toffees are close to signing the 24-year-old midfielder, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano.

Everton will pay a loan amount of around 3 million euros and next summer will sign the player on a permanent contract for around 22 million euros.

The Merseyside club are also close to agreeing contract terms as the final details are settled.

Romano wrote on X: “Everton are closing in on a deal to sign Jesper Lindstrøm from Napoli! €3m loan, €22m buyout clause and contract terms are now close to being agreed.

“We’re working out the final details. Exclusive story confirmed. We’re driving now, coming soon.”

Everton have already made three signings and Lindström could be the club’s fourth arrival.

The Toffees will have the money to buy new players after selling Amadou Onana to Aston Villa in a huge deal.

Aston Villa were also interested in him, but Everton quickly signed a contract with the Danish international.

Lindström was brilliant during his time at Brøndby and Eintracht Frankfurt but did not enjoy a great time at Napoli.

He is a talented midfielder and there is no reason to believe why he would not be a huge success at Goodison Park.    Caramel looks like smart business.
