📢EXCLUSIVE :A Nottingham Forest representative has stated that the club has deviated from its previously communicated transfer strategy

On Thursday, Clarín stated that Ramón Sosa and Tallere president Andrés Fassi traveled to England to complete their move to Nottingham Forest.

An agreement to take the 24-year-old to Nottingham Forest has not yet been concluded. At least that’s what Olé reports, adding that the president canceled his trip to Europe.

Talleres rejected Nottingham Forest’s first offer and agreed to improve his offer to get closer to $15 million without bonuses.

Sources at the Argentine club have told Olé that there is a “significant difference” between the deal the Reds agreed and the offer they made for Talleres.

There is a belief that Nuno Espírito Santo’s side will sort it out, with the report saying that Fassi will travel to Europe in the “coming hours” to close “first-hand”, Sosa’s move to Nottingham Forest.

Tallere’s manager Walter Ribonetto says the winger is training alone.

“He is training but not doing anything with the opponent. With the ball, but individually. After the holidays he had and the Copi América, he is getting physically ready,” he said.

Olé’s claim was supported by the president himself during a chat with La Voz Deportes.

Asked about the reported trip to England, Fassi explained: “I will travel if what we have agreed is the same as written. Because now it is not and they have changed everything! We will see in the next few hours.”

La Voz Deportes claim Talleres wants at least $15m [£11.7m] plus bonuses to take the deal to $20m [£15.7m].

Sosa is still expected to join the English club when they make a written offer for the same amounts as agreed with Talleres.
