His combination of ability to control the ball while also being able to break up play will make him a useful asset in the Premier League campaign.
With a double pivot alongside Idrissa Gueye and Abdoulaye Doucoure in front of him, Everton could have a positive year.
Jesper Lindström can take free kicks for Everton
The Toffees have been craving a player with the technical ability to score free kicks and they may have found that player.
Finally, Lucas Digne was the first-class goal ball operator, but after he moved, the void he left was not filled.
The debutant Dane scored a wonderful goal against Preston, leaving David Cornell with no chance to score.
