🚨EXCLUSIVE :Nottingham Forest Target Set to Join Saudi Pro League Club

Nottingham Forest will miss a goal in midfield.

Nuno Espirito Santo is still keen to add further reinforcements in the summer transfer window as he looks to assemble a squad capable of climbing to mid-table.

He won’t want to be involved in another relegation battle this term, so the need for one or two more quality additions is obvious.

However, Forest will miss out on a target they were rumored to have tried to sign earlier in the window.

Ezequiel Fernandez will join Al Qadsiah

Last week Nottingham Forest News reported that the club had made an £18m bid for Boca Juniors midfielder Ezequiel Fernandez.

The East Midlanders were keen to bring him to the City Ground after his impressive performances in central midfield for Bocas and Argentina’s youth teams.

But according to Fabrizio Romano, he is now set to turn down a move to the Premier League in favor of Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah.

The transfer expert adds that Fernandez is expected to sign a five-year contract after activating the clause in his contract.

Next for the forest…

Nottingham Forest should consider Ben Sheaf

Nottingham Forest are apparently still in the market for a midfielder, so Coventry City’s Ben Sheaf should be considered.

The 26-year-old has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Championship in recent seasons and looks more than ready to take a step towards the top.

Sheaf is a similar model to Declan Rice and his runs would lend themselves well to Nunn’s traditional style.
