The summer transfer window is just three weeks away and Everton are one of the Premier League’s busiest clubs.
But despite welcoming five players to Goodison Park, their net spend remains in the red thanks to the delicious sale of Amadou Onana alongside the smaller but equally crucial departures of Lewis Dobbin and Ben Godfrey.
This allowed Sean Dyche and Kevin Thelwell to lure Tim Iroegbunam, Iliman Ndiaye and Jake O’Brien to Goodison Park permanently, as well as Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindström on loan.
The squad is much stronger than it was at the start of the summer, but there remain some important vacancies that need to be filled.
Fortunately, Everton have just received a huge boost in their efforts to sign the winger.
Everton learn asking price for transfer target
Everton have wanted Largie Ramazani for some time, but unfortunately there hasn’t been much movement in that area.
Instead, the Toffees have danced around other wide men, first trying to land Jaden Philogene before moving on to Yaser Asprill, Yankubo Minteh and more recently, Everton wanted back Wilfried Gnont.
But with all those opting to make the move, they’re left scouring the scouting list for another name to fill that role.
Ramazani seems like a perfect fit.
And according to TEAMtalk reporter Harry Watkinson, the Toffees have been given a major boost in their pursuit as Almeria’s asking price for the playmaker has now been revealed.
On X he wrote: ‘Almeria want £5-6m for Largie Ramazani. He is set to join Everton this summer.
How good is Largie Ramazani?
Born in Belgium and rising through the country’s youth ranks, it was ironically England that first encouraged Ramazani to high school football at Manchester United.
Much was expected of the 23-year-old sensation following his move from Charlton Athletic, but it wasn’t until he secured a move to Spain that his potential began to emerge.
He was a mainstay for Almeria last season and put his 5ft 6 frame to good use.
Such size makes him a nightmare for full-backs, having to deal not only with his quick pace but also with his strength and low center of gravity.
Football talent scout Jacek Kulig put it best when he described Ramazani’s outstanding qualities, calling him an “explosive winger” with “electric pace and acceleration” and “excellent dribbling and close control”.
Not only that, the analyst has also compared him to Vinicius Jr., which should surely excite the Evertons.
He made 29 appearances in the previous La Liga campaign, scoring three goals and providing five assists.
The future is certainly bright for this young Belgian talent and his dynamism could be a breath of fresh air for Everton. Given that small price and the resale value I would definitely insure, it’s a calculated risk worth taking.
