📢EXCLUSIVE :Nottingham Forest Prioritizes £120,000-a-week Star in Transfer Shortlist

Nottingham Forest are looking to complete their plans before the transfer window and it was refreshing to experience a less hectic summer.

The Reds have signed six players – Ramon Sosa will fly in to sign for Forest in the coming days as the club’s seventh signing.

All of those players, with the exception of Marko Stamenic, who joined Olympiacos on loan for the campaign, are hoping to feature against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Forest are not finished in the transfer market and Nuno Espirito Santo is looking to add another goalkeeper to his ranks before the window closes.

Sam Johnstone has been linked with a move to Forest, but there are other names in the mix – including a player who could make a really good signing if added.

Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale and Arsenal’s David Raya embrace ahead of Arsenal’s pre-season friendly against Olympique Lyonnais at the Emirates…

Nottingham Forest place Aaron Ramsdale high on the list

According to TalkSPORT, Ramsdale will leave Arsenal this summer – but they would rather sell him than loan him out.

It could happen that he is allowed to leave on a temporary basis, but Arsenal would want some guarantees for a future signing.

Forest are not the only ones to sign Ramsdal before the end of the transfer window, Wolves and Southampton are also keen on him.

It looks like Forest will be keen to sign the stopper, but the report claims he is high on the list of targets at the City Ground.

Ramsdale is behind David Rayo at the Emirates Stadium and is desperate to move somewhere and play regular football again.

The player has been hailed as “outstanding” by boss Mikel Arteta but has been unable to wrest Raya’s gloves over the past 12 months.

Ramsdale has made 89 appearances for the Gunners since joining the club and it may be a bit difficult to leave.

As a 26-year-old, however, he has tasted ordinary football and sitting on the bench for another season is not something he would like.

Signing Ramsdal will not be easy for Forest. The player earns £120,000-a-week at Arsenal and even on loan, the Gunners would like a big chunk of that fee.

Forest have to sell something if they sign Ramsdal

With Matz Sels, Carlos Miguel and Matt Turner in the goalkeeping ranks, Forest cannot really justify buying another goalkeeper at this stage.

If Ramsdale is the club’s main target, one – if not two – goalkeepers will need to be sold this summer to balance the squad.

Having three goalkeepers is a modern thing, although most clubs have a youngster who acts as a third stopper in an emergency.

However, Ramsdale would be a game-changing signing and his quality could really help Forest climb the Premier League table this season.

While Sels is likely to start the campaign at No. 1, he isn’t really considered a long-term option, whereas Ramdale would be.

At 32, however, the Belgian will want to play and perhaps he – along with Matt Turner – could leave the City Ground if the England goalkeeper signs a deal this summer.
