Nottingham Forest fans believe they are closing in on a deal to sign Ramon Sosa after he was seen leaving a hotel with his bags packed.
The Paraguayan winger appears to be closing in on a move to the Premier League after agreeing a deal with Argentine club Talleres.
This comes after Football Insider exclusively revealed on August 13 that Sosa will undergo a medical at the City Ground within 48 hours.
Sources say the two clubs have agreed a deal worth £11m, with Forest pushing for a deal despite protracted and complicated negotiations.
Nuno Espirito Santo has already seen six players enter the City Ground and is looking to boost his chances with this deal.
Nottingham Forest fans happy with Ramon Sosa’s development
Forest faced an uphill battle against relegation last time out before eventually picking up six points between themselves and Luton in the relegation zone.
Nuno and Evangelos Marinakis are keen to avoid a similar situation this time and want to establish themselves in the Premier League by investing in the transfer market.
Sosa’s arrival would provide even more depth behind Callum Hudson-Odoi, Anthony Elango and summer signing Eric da Silva Moreira.
