Sheffield Wednesday have just a few days to prepare for their third league game against Leeds United.
The Owls have endured a mixed start so far, beating Plymouth Argyle before losing to Sunderland – becoming the first English team since 2010 to win their opening game 4-0 before losing their next game by the same scoreline.
It was a harsh reality check for Sheffield Wednesday, who had high hopes for the season after their win over the Pilgrims.
The Yorkshire side will now look to get back to winning ways later this week, with Sunday’s defeat ending their eight-game unbeaten run in the competition.
Leeds United have had a very difficult start to the campaign but have been tipped for automatic promotion and will be another big challenge.

Rohl wants “atrocity” against Leeds United
Danny Rohl reflected on this weekend’s defeat and has now explained what he wants from his team ahead of their return to Hillsborough.
Speaking to The Star, Rohl said: “This (defeat) is also our opponent’s fault and we must never forget that we always have an opponent who will try good things with good players. They were good today and for us it is still always about learning, learning, learning, improving.
“On Tuesday we start preparing for Leeds. I want to see a team again that is ugly and can compete with strong Leeds, we will try again.”

The Whites managed two draws in their opening games and were beaten 3-0 by Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup.
Leeds are losing several of their key players and are in a very difficult position ahead of Friday’s game.
It’s definitely a great time to be playing the Yorkshire rivals and the Hillsborough crowd behind them will be giving them a big boost.
It looks as though their third game could go one of two ways – they learn from their defeat to Sunderland and put in another great performance, or they dominate again.
Rohl can’t let the latter happen, but if the former does and they can claim a point or even a win, fans will be able to forget this weekend’s disaster and chalk it up to the learning curve that probably had to happen.
Wednesday’s players and fans will have plenty of confidence going into the season, but to think that everything was going to be easy after the win over Plymouth was probably rather naive.
