John Textor traveled to Liverpool on Wednesday (August 21) for further talks with Farhad Moshiri about taking over Everton, according to Yahoo Sports.

The online outlet said sources close to the pair reckon the deal could be fully concluded within days at Goodison Park.

Textor still needs to sell his 45% stake in Crystal Palace, and three parties have so far been interested in the American billionaire.

Finally, everyone seems to be getting closer to a positive outcome.

Textor has already reportedly signed an initial deal for its exclusivity period with Moshiri [David Ornstein], and the entire deal now looks close.

The main issues for Textor appear to be loan repayment and the new arena, with the Friedkin Group already saying they are ready to negotiate their £200m loan [iNews].

This would be a positive for an American who has a lot of work to do.

Moshiri has tried and failed to sell the club several times and is now being approached by MSP Sports Captial, 777 Partners and Dan Friedkin.

This never-ending saga is frustrating the fans and everyone at the club, so it must see an end.

Fingers crossed everything can be arranged with Textor in Liverpool to iron out these details ahead of the crucial Premier League tests.
