Leeds United fans are in for a treat after manager Daniel Farke admitted he expects new signings before the end of the transfer window.
The West Yorkshire club picked up their first win of the season on Friday when they beat Sheffield United 2-0 with goals from Brendan Aaronson and Dan James.
But what Farke said after the game piqued the interest of Leeds fans.
Asked if the club would bring in any new players before August 30 in a post-match interview, Farke replied with a simple “Yes, for sure”.
One of the players who could be heading to Elland Road is Köln’s Austrian midfielder Dejan Ljubičić.
Football Insider revealed (August 23) that Koln will accept a £7m bid for Ljubicic after rejecting United’s initial offer.
Leeds United are set for a late transfer bonanza
Leeds still have the smallest squad in the Championship with 21 Premier League players, although Largie Ramazani sings from Spain’s Almeria.
Fans have been asking the club to sign replacements for big name departures all summer and it looks like their wish will finally come true.
