EXCLUSIVE :West Ham ‘cannot reach’ player’s current wage demands – Move can be helped by key development

admin

AS Roma have been very active in the sales and arrivals department this summer and still are.

While they continue to deal with the transfer of Kevin Dans, Tammy Abraham is expected to leave the club.

West Ham have been named as the main contenders to sign the Englishman on several occasions.

Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo has reported that Roma are looking to sell Abraham and that this would determine how much they can offer Lens for Dansa.

Currently, the structure of West Ham’s contract is an initial loan worth €2 million and an obligation to buy for €22 million. Abraham has opened up the possibility of joining West Ham as wage talks continue.

This is exactly the problem now. The Hammers are “unable to reach” Abraham’s current salary of €6m per season, a figure which is likely to be after tax.

It remains to be seen what the Englishman will earn if he does move, but Roma are keen to sign Dansa and that could play a key role in ensuring Abraham does indeed move to West Ham.
