Nottingham Forest are reportedly keeping tabs on Bournemouth goalkeeper Net as the transfer window approaches.

The Reds have until 11pm on Friday (August 30) to complete any remaining business before the summer transfer window closes. They have signed nine so far, although two of those additions have immediately gone on loan to Olympiacos.

The club still has some work to do to complete Nuna Espirito Santo’s squad as they seek promotion to the Premier League. Arrivals are expected in the last hours of the window.

Forest have already added goalkeeper Carlos Miguel to their ranks this summer. The Brazilian made his debut on Wednesday night as Nuno’s side knocked Newcastle United out of the Carabao Cup.

But there was always the possibility of the Reds grabbing two shots in that window on the conversion between the posts. Speculation that the goalkeepers were being looked at has died down in recent weeks, but may have rekindled just before the deadline.

According to the Daily Mail’s Window Watch, which is also cited by Sun reporter Alan Nixon, Forest are keen on Cherries keeper Neto. A “shock” claim had to be made.

Sky has slashed the price of its Sky Sports, Sky Stream, Sky TV and Netflix packages in an unbeatable new deal that saves you £216 and includes 1,400 live Premier League, EFL and more matches.

With Ultra HD included at no extra cost, football fans can enjoy the 2024/25 season in crystal clear picture quality

Miguel has been Matzo Selso’s number 2 since joining from Corinthians in July. He conceded after just 18 seconds against the Magpies on his first appearance for the club, but made some good saves after that. The second leg ended 1-1 after full-time, but the hosts lost 4-3 on penalties.

If another goalkeeper arrives at the City Ground, Matt Turner is likely to be affected. The American has been pushed down by the arrival of Miguel and is one of the players whose future is uncertain in the final hours of the window.
