Everton have not been afraid to make their transfer interest public this window, knowing they are heavy favorites to land their man.

And so Iliman Ndiaye, Jake O’Brien, Jesper Lindström and Tim Iroegbunam have all swapped sides for Kola, with more to come before the end of the summer.

Orel Mangala has already completed a medical at Everton, suggesting a new deal is on the way, while Everton are also looking to sign Ernesto Nuamah before the deadline.

But this latest report actually details another winger the Toffees are trying to sign, and will battle it out with a Premier League rival for his signature.

Everton are again showing interest in West Brom’s Tom Fellows
This new transfer target has been welcomed by TEAMtalk, who suggest that Everton are ready to make another push into the Championship to try and land some untapped talent.

Their efforts to sign Jaden Philogene at the start of the window showed their desire to dip into this market, which often has unlimited potential, while tenuous links with former Watford wizard Yaser Asprillo only reinforced that notion.

However, West Bromwich Albion will now have to be very prepared as Tom Fellows is the latest object of their affection.

The report reads: “West Brom winger Tom Fellows is attracting interest from the Premier League and TEAMtalk can reveal Southampton’s bid for him has been rejected.

“We understand West Brom have rejected a £10m bid from Saints as Russell Martin looks to bolster his side’s attacking options.

“However, West Brom are open to several offers for the youngster. TEAMtalk can reveal that Everton are also eyeing him as they look to bring in a new winger.

Everton tried to sign Tom Fellows earlier this year, so their interest has been there for a long time. That could tempt the 21-year-old to prefer them to Southampton.

How good is Everton target Tom Fellows?

Fellows, a product of the Baggies academy, made his debut for the club in 2021 as a promising teenager with plenty of buzz around him.

But as he drifted in and out of the senior team, his growth slowed before he finally earned his big break and a solid first-team appearance only this year.

He scored his first career goal in the FA Cup and later scored his first league goal just six days later.

A traditional winger who likes to hug his touchline, hit the line and hit a devastating cross, even at the time of their initial interest, Everton.News spoke to football writer and West Brom insider Kieran Doody, who explained exactly why he would be young man good fit for Sean Dyche.

Fellows was praised for his directness, claiming: “His style has drawn muted comparisons to Kevin Kilbane, who Evertonians will know well, given his direct style and desire to deliver the ball early into dangerous positions, albeit on the right wing and not left!

He is very direct, receives the ball deep and his first thought is to have as much possession forward as possible. He is very much a traditional winger who attacks the full-back and passes the ball upfield with an average of almost 7 passes per game.
