Newcastle United turned down Crystal Palace’s Marco Guehi during the summer transfer window.
According to Football Insider, they will rekindle interest in the 24-year-old centre-back in January. Newcastle want to sign him at a cut price.
The Eagles demanded £75m for the defender in the summer and it remains to be seen if they are willing to let him leave for a more reasonable fee in January. The defender will have 18 months left on his contract in January and Crystal Palace may need to be more realistic with their demands.
He has established himself as a top defender in the Premier League and is being watched by many clubs. Crystal Palace won’t want to lose him on a free transfer in 2026, so it would make sense to cash in on him before then.
