Leeds United fans booed referee James Bell after he decided not to award Manor Solomon a penalty in their game against Burnley on Saturday.

The 25-year-old received the ball on the edge of the box from Willy Gnont before Burnley defender Joe Worrall knocked it into the area.

Worrall hit Solomon in the back as the winger tried to dance around a Burnley defender, but referee Bell decided not to award the spot-kick.

Scott Parker’s side won the game 1-0 at Elland Road thanks to a goal from young American winger Luca Koleosho.

Leeds United had 72 percent of the possession but failed to capitalize on their chances and are now eighth, just below the play-offs after five Championship games.
