How Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter are faring since leaving Leeds United

Leeds United have ripped a huge attacking hole in the summer after selling Georginio Rutter and Crysencia Summerville – but how are they doing in the Premier League?

   The Championship player of the season, in form Summerville, scored an incredible 31 goals and assists for Leeds last season.    The best player in England outside the Premier League has joined West Ham.

   A fee which saw West Ham pay an initial £25m but a further £9m in add-ons.    A fee of £5m if certain add-ons are met in terms of performance and a further £4m paid to Leeds when they claim their first Dutch win.

   Rutter, meanwhile, came as a bigger surprise.    Leeds fans expected Summerville to leave even after Archie Gray left for Tottenham, but few saw French winger Rutter moving when he left Brighton.

   Summerville is increasingly linked with West Ham

   While he was an unused substitute in one of West Ham’s Premier League games against Crystal Palace, pocket Dutch ace Summerville is starting to get more and more minutes under manager Julen Lopetegui.

   He started in the Carabao Cup in West Ham’s late 1-0 win against Bournemouth and came on at half-time in the Hammers’ 1-1 draw with Fulham at the weekend.    However, he has yet to record a goal or assist.

   That may happen in time and it will be interesting to see if Lopetegui is brave enough to include the Leeds favorite in his starting XI on Saturday when West Ham take on London rivals Chelsea.

   Rutter is fighting for a chance to shine at Brighton following a £40million deal

   Rutter made his first start on Saturday against Ipswich Town, a side that boasted Kalvin Phillips, Leif Davis and Jack Clarke.    However, he struggled to impress and was subbed off after 67 minutes in a 0-0 draw.

   He was not part of Brighton’s Carabao Cup squad against Crawley and only got small roles against Manchester United and Arsenal.    Saturday was his only second Premier League start of his career.

   Rutter will have a cup tie on Wednesday when Brighton host Wolves in the Carabao Cup and will have to wait for another opportunity when the Seagulls take on Nottingham Forest at home on Sunday.
