Man United fans loved what they saw from former player Hannibal Maybri after Burnley beat Leeds United at Elland Road.
Hannibal made a permanent move from Old Trafford to Turf Moor this summer, but he hasn’t forgotten his roots in the United academy.
Given the rivalry between the two clubs, he was heavily mobbed by the Leeds fans throughout the game and he took the opportunity to give them back a little.
After being substituted in the 73rd minute, he walked around the pitch waving his arms and encouraging the Leeds fans at Elland Road, which was very disappointing.
The home crowd were outraged by the incident and lashed out at the midfielder on social media after the match, with the clip quickly going viral and reaching over a million people.
To make matters even sweeter for Man United supporters, Burnley won the game 1-0 to leave Leeds with just four wins in their last 15 competitive games.
Despite no longer representing the Red Devils, fans loved what they saw from their academy at the home of one of their fiercest rivals.
