JUST IN :Ian Wright says £10.6m Forest man is his favourite Premier League player to watch

Nottingham Forest beat Liverpool in a performance built on a solid backline at Anfield on Saturday.

   The Reds won the game 1-0 thanks to a goal from Callum Hudson-Odoi and Forest remain unbeaten in four Premier League games so far.

   Nuno Espirito Santo adopted a game plan that worked to the core and proved his critics wrong once and for all with this masterclass.

   You could put a lot of players in the man-of-the-match combination from Saturday’s game and not be disappointed with the selection.

   Forest now face Brighton this weekend and the players have given the head coach a real headache ahead of the trip south.

   The pundit waxed lyrical about the Reds this week after Forest produced a Premier League performance today.

   One player who is a huge fan is Murillo – and it’s fair to say he’s not the only one.

   Forest revived their interest in Murillo in the summer, with Inter Milan the latest club to monitor the centre-back’s performances.

   Wright thought he was brilliant this weekend and made a big statement about the 22-year-old talent.

   The former Forest loanee told the Wrighty’s House podcast: “He’s going to be one of my favorite players to watch, Murillo at the back for Forest. He’s so good, he’s so good on the ball, his passes from defense are so good.”

   Murillo will benefit from another season with Forest

   For Forest, they could have easily sold Murillo in the summer, but in the end no one submitted his valuation.

   As a result, the player remained at Forest and instead of moving on, he wanted to start this season where he picked up last time.

   Murillo is an extremely talented player and given that Forest got him for £10.6m, they will obviously make money from him.

   At 22, the world really is his oyster.    He has been linked with top clubs and it will be fascinating to see where he ends up when the time comes to move on.

   If Murillo were to leave this summer, he might go to a club that doesn’t necessarily see him as first choice and would stall his progress.

   He will feature regularly at Forest and with one year left in the Premier League should be able to lead regular campaigns when it comes time to leave.
