‘From what I know’: Keith wyness suggest how many games Farke is from Leeds sake

Former Everton boss Keith Wyness has hinted that Leeds United could look for a replacement for Daniel Farke during the next international break.

   In a new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the 66-year-old, who was managing director at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy that advises elite clubs, claimed the October international break sees “the most movement”.  ” for leaders “according to his experience”.

   Football Insider revealed on Wednesday (September 18) that Farkes’ job at Leeds is safe for now, with club bosses unwilling to end his reign.

   However, the German is under pressure at Elland Road after picking up just eight points in the Whites’ opening five games.

   Leeds face Cardiff, Coventry, Norwich and Sunderland in the run up to next month’s international break.

   Farke failed to secure promotion last term after losing to Southampton in the Championship play-off final.

   Wyness told Football Insider’s Insider Track podcast: “My experience is that there are two national team breaks at the start of the season.

   “It’s usually the second one where you see the most movement.

   “It’s a bad start to the season, the owners think they’re going to make a move – and the new guy gets an extra week of international bed rest.

   “Expect some big moves in the next international break if Farke doesn’t change.”
