   The latest reports have claimed that Crystal Palace are keen to sign Millwall Romain Esse – as he recently attended his side’s game with Luton.

   The 19-year-old, who has started getting more minutes for the Lions, could be one of the next stars to come through the Championship.

   Although it is still early days, the Eagles could increase their interest if they are given the go-ahead to secure a transfer in the coming months.

   He has been a regular in the England youth set-up and with his growing experience could be expected to rise through the ranks of the Young Lions.

   Esse’s current contract runs until 2026, potentially opening up the possibility of signing him next year while the contract shrinks.
