Nottingham Forest fans are outraged after Morgan Gibbs-White was sent off during the draw with Brighton, as photos emerged on social media.
Nuna Espirito Santo’s side fought to maintain their unbeaten run at the AMEX as goals from Chris Wood and Ramon Sosa canceled out goals from Jack Hinshelwood and Danny Welbeck.
However, the game ended in much controversy as Gibbs-White, Nuno and Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler were all sent off after a heated 83rd-minute clash.
A strong challenge from the Forest midfielder ended in a second yellow card, despite referee Rob Jones indicating he had won the ball in an attack.
Anthony Taylor, the fourth official in the game, was also heavily involved in the aftermath, with fans speculating that he was the one who suggested the sending off.
Replays showed Gibbs-White won the ball despite the force of the challenge, leaving fans furious at his sending off.
It comes just a day after Manchester United star Lisandro Martinez avoided a red card for a two-legged tackle against Crystal Palace.

In the end it was a strong performance and a fantastic result for Forest away from home to make it five games unbeaten in the Premier League.
Controversial refereeing decisions once again overshadowed the impressive performance as they once again became the center of attention.
Fans flooded social media following the incident, raging against the officials and the decision, which they described as “disgraceful” and “disgraceful”.
