   In two demanding visits to Liverpool and Brighton, he made maximum use of his bench, and combined points in both games with substitutions.

   As a result, it is a huge bonus that Forest will have their head coach on the sidelines for the visit of Fulham this weekend.

   That should do it, if Forest get 12 points from six games it would be a big step.

   That would mean Forest will average two points per game and it may not be long before season expectations start to change.

   No one expects much from Forest, but it would be a big plus if they tick off their first home win soon and the season starts in earnest.
