Nottingham Forest are preparing to return to the Premier League this weekend after their recent international break.

   The last international game was played against Forest and Crystal Palace on Monday night.

   Nuno Espirito Santo will thus have a bit more time to work with his players before they next step onto the City Ground.

   But the Portuguese manager will have to consider a tight turnaround when their next game is against Leicester City on Friday night.

   A number of players are returning to Forest following their international call-ups and one has really impressed Morgan Gibbs-White.

   Summer signing Elliot Anderson has spent the last week in the England Under-21 camp, where he was in action on Tuesday night.

   The £35million midfielder started in the Bristol game against Azerbaijan, where England won 7-0.

   Anderson has already won Forest’s player of the month award since leaving Newcastle United after a solid start at the City Ground.

   Anderson played the full 90 minutes for England U21s in Bristol on Tuesday, scoring a goal in a 7-0 win.

   The Forest midfielder was even named man of the match at the final whistle following his impressive display.

   Anderson celebrated his first England goal on Instagram after the match with a selection of pictures from the match.

   And his Forest team-mate, Gibbs-White, responded to the post by saying: “I love it bro, congrats.”

   Since arriving at the City Ground, Anderson has managed to win the Premier League six times under Nuno.

   The 21-year-old’s only contribution came with an assist against Wolves, but he retained a regular place in the side.

   And his potential is there for all to see, playing like he did against Azerbaijan on Tuesday night.
