Sheffield United handed major boost for Leeds United trip as Chris Wilder has fresh decision

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has been boosted by the news that he is injury-free after the international break as he prepares to select his squad to face Leeds United.    The Blades travel to Elland Road on Friday night looking to defend their record as the only unbeaten team in the Championship.

   While Leeds boss Daniel Farke has had his fair share of injury problems in his squad this season, that has not been the case for Wilder, who should once again have a squad almost ready to play.    Jack Robinson and Tom Davies remain the club’s only real absences, with Robinson close to a recall after continuing his recovery by playing for the club’s under-21s this week, helping them beat city rivals Sheffield Wednesday.

   The biggest concern for Wilder was the impact of the trip on Australian international Harry Souttar, who played in Japan on Tuesday night.    However, the centre-back, who has been a real presence in his team this season, has made a smooth return to Sheffield.

   Wilder said;    “They’re all back. Soutts (Souttar) is back this morning, positive reports about it. He’s traveling back, he’s been through the games, they’ve all got their games. We’re like going to a Luton Town game.”
