Everton planning £17m January bid for ‘dynamic’ striker who idolises Sergio Aguero

Everton have made great strides in recent transfer windows, not only strengthening their squad but also their financial position.

   For many years, sustainability has been a top priority at Goodison Park, even before the development.

   After all, after the season they had just endured, with two separate points deductions due to their perceived inability to meet the PSR Premier League, it was clear that this had become paramount.

   It comes as Dominic Calvert-Lewin is still yet to sign a new contract with the Goodison Park side, leaving Everton manager Sean Dyche unsure of what his striking options will be next summer.

   Well, whether he’ll be there or not, he and Kevin Thelwell are clearly looking forward to it.

   British media claim that Everton, who offered around 12 million euros for Semih Kılıçsoy this summer, will increase the price.    It has also been stated that the Premier League side, who are preparing a bid in excess of €20m, want to include the 19-year-old international in their January squad.

   After joining Beşiktaş in 2016, the 19-year-old striker has enjoyed a fairytale rise to prominence in his side’s first team.

   And despite his youth, the teenage sensation has already made 50 first-team appearances, scoring 11 goals in the Turkish league last season alone.

   At just 5-foot-11, he’s far from the most physically dominant player, but he has more than enough athleticism and skill to lead the line on his own.

   Especially considering Kılıçsoy has revealed that he adores Sergio Aguero, the Manchester City legend who remains the Premier League’s all-time top scorer abroad.

   Far from being great, he remained an elite-level player for ten years in England.

   Perhaps the Turkish star could follow in his footsteps, as Mehmet Ekşi, Besiktas’ former director of football, described him as a “dynamic and talented” striker.
