Mark Douglas shares the two words he keeps hearing from sources about the Everton takeover

Everton fans continue to wait patiently for developments surrounding the Friedkin Group takeover, and Mark Douglas has just saved the day with some exciting news.

Sean Dyche has rallied his troops at the right time, with the Friedkin Group keen to be on board as any talks about a new manager are shelved.

Alan Myers recently released an updated possible timeline, with the acquisition expected to be completed by the end of November.

However, there has been a lot of negative media commentary about our potential new owners recently, with Claudio Ranieri criticizing Friedkin’s decision to sack Daniele De Rossi.

Interestingly, it still seems to be filtering in the background, as Mark Douglas provided a major update on Tuesday evening.

Two words from Everton sources on the takeover
Dan Friedkin has received some positive personal news recently, with his net worth increasing by £1.6 billion compared to last year.

But with the PSR questions, it remains to be seen how much Everton can spend in January.

The takeover seems to be running nicely in the background as Mark Douglas has posted an update.

According to iNews, Everton sources continue to mention the two words “on track” as they work out the details of the takeover.

“While sources are shying away from calling anything imminent — they remain at the mercy of external forces regarding the timeline — things are said to remain ‘on track’ and there is a measure of optimism that Friedkins will be under control by Christmas.

“No-one will offer any guarantees on this and the ongoing legal case involving Leadenhall Capital and A-Cap taking over the club’s debt to 777 Partners will need to be resolved. Further work may be required on this deal – even if there is still ‘confidence  ”, that the obstacle can be overcome.

“No one foresees any problems with the Premier League’s enhanced OADTs, which require proof of cash, a short- and medium-term business plan and the names of directors, or obtaining FCA approval. This process could take several months, taking us until December.

Problems currently facing the Friedkin group

Dan Friedkin has admitted a huge mistake in sacking Daniele De Rossi from Roma and the ownership group are now looking to potentially re-sign him.

Lazio owner Claudio Lotito also took a snide dig at the Friedkin group over their decision to press ahead with the Everton takeover.

There are a lot of doubts about them at the moment, but it’s easy to get mad at the owners when things aren’t going well on the pitch.

Firing De Rossi seems strange since he was better than Jose Mourinho, but at least they are correcting their mistakes.
