Ola Aina is a player who has attracted a lot of interest with his current contract set to expire in the summer.
AS Roma are one of the latest sides to register an interest, having Aina on their list of possible January left-back signings.
Another player who has attracted interest from Newcastle United is Nikola Milenkovic, following his eight impressive first eight Premier League appearances for Forest.
Murillo is attracting the attention of Chelsea, but a £70m valuation is currently putting them off.
Interestingly, there has been an update involving Newcastle and a player not mentioned above.
Newcastle United will battle to sign the Nottingham Forest star in January
Newcastle United have enjoyed a lot of success since signing Anthony Gordon and they seem to have grown to like the winger at the City Ground.
Interestingly, Miguel Almiron was claimed to have been offered to Forest on deadline day after the Magpies signed Anthony Elanga.
However, Evangelos Marinakis had no interest in the business and stayed there.
Now it looks like the Tyneside club will once again struggle to sign him in January.
According to iNews, Newcastle are dealing with some PSR issues that will likely prevent them from signing Elango when the transfer window opens.
PSR is said to continue to influence the club’s thinking and Elanga will not come cheap.
Anthony Elanga’s season at Nottingham Forest so far
Anthony Elanga hasn’t exactly hit the heights many expected in the current campaign. He still hasn’t gotten away with it, but he has an assist.
One positive point is the fact that Elanga is the second fastest player in the Premier League this season, ahead of Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
Given his current form, a fee of around £50m could prove too difficult to turn down in January, although that doesn’t look to be the case for Newcastle.
Regardless, he’s still young at 22, so there’s still plenty of development and potential to unlock.
