Steve Cooper will surely be concerned by Leicester City star who lost 66% of duels vs Nottingham Forest

Leicester City faced Nottingham Forest in a Premier League game on Friday night and were far from their best.

   The Foxes went into the game and made it three wins on the spin for the first time under Steve Cooper.

      The Leicester boss answered the prayers of fans ahead of kick-off at the King Power Stadium with some exciting selection calls.

   Abdul Fatawu and Harry Winks start after impressing in their return against Southampton last week.

   And against Nottingham Forest, Leicester started quite well.    True, Ryan Yates put them 1-0 up after 16 minutes and Jamie Vardy equalized after 23 minutes and the home side’s overall first-half performance was solid.

   However, things quickly turned around in the second half and Leicester lost 3-1 with some players brilliant in the evening’s clash.

   Wout Faes was poor for Leicester City against Nottingham Forest

   Facundo Buonanotte saw his main weakness exposed against Nottingham Forest after a string of previous stellar performances for the Midlands outfit.

   Elsewhere, James Justin didn’t make the cut, playing on the left against Nun Espirito Santo’s men.

   One man who was particularly affected that night was centre-back Wout Faes.

   The Belgian kept Leicester clean in the second half when he was forced into a foul by Forest striker Chris Wood.

   According to SofaScore, some stats emerged after the match about Fae’s display against Nottingham Forest.

   The center back earned a team-low 5.9 grade, lost 66 percent of his tackles, lost possession eight times, failed to block a single shot or rebound, was passed twice and, of course, committed the foul that led to the PRIMER.

   Despite conceding three, Fae’s centre-back that night, Caleb Okoli, was by no means terrible and should retain his place up front.

   But Leicester could now slip to 16th in the Premier League after the final week of games, potentially three points clear of the relegation zone.

   After taking on Manchester United in the League Cup on Wednesday, Leicester host Ipswich Town in their next Premier League game.

   Ipswich are currently one point above the bottom three and this meeting, like Southampton, is already looking like a must for Leicester.

   As a result, Cooper should consider dropping Faes for this game and start the more experienced Conor Coady at centre-back.
