Sean Dyche now must drop 28-touch player who lost 83% of his duels after he let Everton down vs Fulham

Saturday marked one of Everton’s worst performances in recent memory and the fans responded in kind.

   Sean Dyche is lucky that Beto somehow managed to salvage a point at the death as the review is nowhere near as bad as it would have been had they lost what they deserved.

   They were passive, lazy and hardly posed any attacking threat, eventually nullified by Alex Iwobi scoring on the return to Goodison Park.

   A scathing indictment of how the club was run and how they were forced to offload their best players just to balance the books, it was sad to see one of their former stars come after them.

   Alex Iwobi sent an emotional message to Everton fans after the game to pay tribute to them.    However, disappointment boiled over after the full-time signal.

   Everton were terrible from the first minute against Fulham

   It was clear after ten minutes that this would not be a high-quality match, but few expected it to last the whole match.

   Usually, if they start slowly, it’s the toffee’s turn at half-time and the Everton boss sets them straight.    Then at least they came out with a bit more fight in the second half.

   However, there was no such reaction on Saturday, as the vast majority of the team did not show up and remained invisible.

   It’s truly a miracle that they managed a point, as they only created one big chance in the entire game and collected just 0.79 Expected Goals to Fulham’s 1.26.

   Dwight McNeil was disappointing before his injury, as was Vitaliy Mykolenko at fullback.    One man, however, stood out as a particularly poor performer.

   How did Jack Harrison play against Fulham?

   Jack Harrison started his seventh Premier League game of the season on Saturday and has become a mainstay under Dyche.

   He values his relentless work rate and crossing ability, so his consistent inclusion is warranted.

   But that can no longer be the case after his latest performance, where he received the worst Sofascore rating of any player on the pitch.

   His incredible underlying numbers also support a 6/10 as he managed just 28 touches and completed just seven passes in the entire game.

   He would also make just one completed cross, which he is prepared to do, while managing a single defensive interaction all afternoon.

   If he’s not going to work hard and make crosses, there’s no point in Harrison being in the team.

   His performance is characterized by the fact that he won only one of the six matches in which he appeared, with a failure rate of 83%.

   He can’t start at Southampton.    Dyche needs to make big changes next weekend.
