‘Never the case’ – Alan Myers issues verdict on potential delays with Everton takeover

Alan Myers believes Everton’s takeover is not overdue and is not expected to be completed before the end of November.

   The Sky Sports news editor claims that people who have suggested the process will be completed in two or three weeks are way off the mark.

   It should be done before the end of 2024 and in the last weeks of the year, not in September or October.

   Via X, he wrote: “I’ve seen people suggest it would be done in 2-3 weeks, that’s never been the case, it’s always been late November, early December. There’s a lot to do, and even when  it was approved by PL, then there is a period when it is checked by an independent body, the main thing is that everything is fine!”

   Everton fans will relive to see no more problems with the takeover process

   It is a relief that everything is going well and that there are no more problems with the pickup.

   Kol fans have every right to be concerned as they have seen many false dawns in the past, but things have never been this close.

   Farhad Moshiri has run the club into the ground and the Goodison Park faithful can’t wait to see the back of him.

   Hopefully the Friedkin team will quickly realize why the fans hated Moshiri and begin to part ways with him early on.

   They know how to run football clubs professionally and can use their expertise to help Everton take it to the next level.

   With the new arena set to be ready in time for next season, the start of a new ownership era at Bramley-Moore Dock will be extremely poetic.
