Nottingham Forest fans rage at ‘abysmal’ Jamie Carragher after what he said

Nottingham Forest fans have been left fuming at Jamie Carragher after his commentary during their defeat to Newcastle at the City Ground.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side finally saw their unbeaten run ended by the Magpies after losing 3-1, despite having been leading 1-0 at half-time.

Murillo’s first-half header was later cancelled out by strikes from Alexander Isak, Joelinton and late substitute Harvey Barnes.

However, the game was not without controversy as the travelling supporters were left raging at Ryan Yates after he went unpunished for multiple late challenges.

Carragher had also picked up on the midfielder’s performance, having claimed he “got away with one” following an apparent elbow on Tino Livramento.

The former Liverpool man, who was commentating live on Sky Sports, exclaimed “Finally!” after Yates was eventually handed a yellow card by Anthony Taylor.

This shout, as well as multiple other claims throughout the game, had left supporters of the home side raging as they demanded he be pulled from commentary of their fixtures.

It was a frustrating day for Forest fans after falling to a heavy defeat at home in what was one of their most underwhelming performances of the season so far.

However, they are not the first to fume at Carragher’s comments so far this season, after Arsenal fans tore into the Sky Sports pundit after what he said about Mikel Arteta.

Now, the home crowd at the City Ground are the latest to have been left frustrated by his commentary, as they took to social media to express their anger.
