‘I’m sorry to say this’: BBC reporter states the only reason Everton would ever sack Sean Dyche

Everton face another relegation battle after a torrid start to the Premier League.

   Sean Dyche’s men lacked quality going forward and the football is getting really bad for spectators.

   Two wins in 11 games is certainly relegation form, so it’s no surprise that Friedkin’s group are unhappy with the current situation at Everton.

   In fact, some Everton fans want Dyche to be sacked and have called on the club to appoint Thomas Frank from Brentford.

   It remains to be seen whether Dyche will stay on during the international break, but BBC reporter Phil McNulty has now shared his thoughts on the Everton manager’s future.

   During a Q&A session for fans, renowned BBC reporter Phil McNulty gave his honest verdict on Dyche’s future at Goodison Park.

   “I don’t think Everton, with the new ownership being confirmed, will not consider changing the manager unless there really is an emergency,” McNulty said.

   “I’m sorry to break it to you, but this season’s ambitions must be limited to holding on before they enter the new stadium at Bramley Moore Dock, which offers the prospect of a fresh start and revival under American billionaire Dan Friedkin after years of crisis and chaos  .”

   He continued: “However, I would be very surprised if Sean Dyche took Everton to a new stadium. His contract expires at the end of the season and history shows that new owners almost always want their managers. I don’t expect Friedkin to be any different.”

   Friedkin Group will likely wait until next summer to change managers

   The Everton News have exclusively reported that Friedkin’s group agree they will have to wait until next summer to find Dyche’s successor.

   The owners are aware that it will be really difficult to find a long-term manager in the middle of the season and it seems that, if things don’t get worse, they are ready to hang on to the former Burnley boss who led them away from the relegation zone.  two previous campaigns.

   If there is to be a change, former coach David Moyes should get it by the end of the season.
